I love the LM-2, just as the final CAD drawings present it, WOW.
Keep the chronometer on the bottom.
My personal point of view and it is personal is that I really beleive ( and I foolishly got rid of all my titanium watches- dumb) we need to see this in Titanium, but as I beleive we can only order one type of Metal, so Mitch and LaHugh how does this work, do the people - we the forum vote and leave it at that - it is democratic, or do we leave up to you?
Sorry but I just need to express that, I would love it in Titanium and am on board all the way.
What is the process guys?
Hope I did not open up a can or worms here?

" For watches there's always TIME "
I think the way things normally work is the guys investing the money and taking the risks make the final decisions.
Can you imagine Omega, Panerai, Rolex, et al, coming to WUS and soliciting opinions and ideas for their new watch models?
My point being that I think we should be appreciative of the fact that we are allowed any part in the process.
We should all keep in mind that except for a very small handful of watch companies like Ocean7, it's strictly a "take it or leave it" proposition.

My favorite diver? Jessica Alba, of course!
Thanks for the complement, Robert. Many of the decisions we made were the result of input from the group, and if not for some pushy people here, we may have taken the cheap and lazy way out, using stock hands on the LM-1. The input here has been invaluable, and that's probably why people seem to be very enthusiastic about the watches (and to be perfectly honest, I'm sure the pre-order price didn't hurt, either).
Steve is right though, ultimately we have to do what we think is best (translate - what we can sell the most of), and what we think the general public would accept going beyond marketing to dive watch enthusiasts on this forum.
So the answer is - we don't know. Most here want steel. We don't have much time to decide because we and the manufacturer are committed to an eighteen week timeframe to deliver the watches.
I'll set up a poll, and we'll see what happens.
Mitch
Even if you do not plan to order an LM-2, please let us know what you prefer. Hopefully many will vote so we can get a good idea of what people want.
Edit: Ok, I spelled "Stainless" wrong. I don't see a way to edit the poll. You know what we mean.
Thanks,
Mitch & LaHugh

Just my personal opinion... I like the feel of stainless steel unless the watch is just really a monster (Kobold Seal) and then the titanium still feels substantial.
It's also easier to take care of IMO![]()
2DARK Hardwood Watch Boxes are the real deal
The Seal, LM-1, and LM-2 are the same diameter - 44mm. The LM-2 will probably be a few mm thinner.Originally Posted by mr2blue

I thought we already agreed that I was right and the next model would be Titanium?!! I mean, I'm never wrong!!!
You made a S/S model...next you make a Ti model...then you flesh out the line with a few more S/S versions with minor design changes...after that you can mess around with Ceramic or some other Unobtanium case material...then you retire to the Turks & Caicos! What's so hard to understand?!!
It can only be Titanium!
I has spoke.
