    Re: LM-2 drawing is here!

Exterior AR coating is a pain.
It's a nice look, but it catches and holds smudges and waterspots and can be scratched.

    the hands look fine.

the orange indices (between every 5 minutes) are too long...they should not extend out to the same distance as the white numerics...makes the proportions wrong. short them by 1/3 or even 1/2 and it will give the ring better balance and make it easier to read. i'd like to see minute markers on the entire timing ring rather than on just 0-15...i wonder what that would look like?

ditto. i'd prefer not to have the outside AR-coated.

Tragic - good point I noticed that on my PO.

Denizen - We'll try that on the next drawing.

What do you think about removing the white minute indices on the dial? Take a look at the Glycine Lagunare.

It does look like the Glycine Lagunare LE. I like it.

Lets get the LM-1 in everyones hands, then I can start to commit to the next model. For me if the the LM-1 is what i expect it to be, then the LM-2 will be a slam dunk.

I think the LM-2 would look really good on a mesh, even more so than the LM-1

mr2blue - We agree, and in a perfect world, we'd like to prove ourselves by releasing the first watch before designing future models.

Unfortunately, because the design to production time is at least five months long, much longer in the case of the LM-1 because it was our first watch, we don't have the luxury of waiting to begin the design process for the next three watches. In fact, we may have them all designed and ordered before we receive the first production LM-1. We are aware that some people are not happy about this and we are sorry, but we don't see an alternative.

I agree with mr2blue in that I think the LM-2 design is reminiscent of the Lagunaure LE. That's a GOOD thing and I really like it! :gold

I build computers for a hobby and I did the AMD thing a few years ago. They're really not a bad alternative as long as you don't mind scouring the Internet for drivers.

P.S.- I never thought you were trying to derail anything and to answer your question, no, I don't really have any great knowledge of the movement. However, I do know that guys aren't shy about bitching, so if there was a fundamental problem with this movement, I'm sure we'd have heard about it by now from owners of the various Anonimo and Oris models that use them. :-D

Good point, Steve. Worst case, we'll wait the extra months for the 2824, but I don't think it will be necessary.

I always liked that watch. But I like our lugs, dial, and hands, better!
