Sure hope this means your diligently working on this venture. So when is the website going to be updated with new strap pics? I need to buy the new PloProf PU strap so I can stare at it for a few months.

The new straps won't be here until the end of next month. Hopefully the new site will be running at the end of this month.

AR coating would be great on a flat crystal and I'd pay extra for it if that is what it would take to have it.

I just looked at my swatch book. Mitch I wonder what you think about 296, that has a patina look already very blue almost black.

Thinking about it, I think it would be a great idea to take a blank sapphire dial and place over the swatch. That way, you can get a more true idea of what the actual color will look like. Sapphire with AR coating will change the color of the dial to the eye.

The inside AR coating on my U1 doesn't give a purple tint at all and it simply makes the crystal disappear!!

My vote would be for AR on the inside for sure!

    Mitch,

I'd also like AR on the inside of the crystal, if possible. I know that it is a bit purple from certain angles, but it also draws the crystal into the background, making it essentially invisible from most angles.

    Dark blue (282) is great.

I really like the 5 minute markers.

Red plastic capped stainless steel HEV.

    A flat crystal is perfect.

Looks awesome and I am pretty stoked about this watch, Mitch! Great work and thanks for listening to the input of your fellow WIS-ites!

Pantone 296 may be a little too dark. So far I like 282 best.

Inside AR coating costs very little. That's probably because it does very little (IMHO). The multi-layer two sided coating used by Sinn and Omega, is expensive. I have a sample LM-2 crystal with this coating. I haven't had time to install it or to take a good look at it yet.

Ah... so your saying the choice is AR on the outside OR on the inside, not both?

With regard to the Pantone colour, the issue there is different computer monitors (and other computer components) show the same colour very differently so it's hard to get a true idea of how "dark" 282 is as it will be different depending on who's looking at it! With that said Mitch, I think you should just go with what YOU think is right...
