It would be enough if the initial batch would be the A series and numbered in the same way the LM-2 and LM-3 were. Any future series should then be the B, C, D... Having the first series is limited enough to me.
I think Mitch has said in the past, the Ocean7 American was going to be the only L.E. that was being released this year. I could be wrong though.
big picture = homage is good enough regardless of anything 1>2000
bigger picture = LE = demand will eventually outweigh supply and create more collectibility and worth. A more desirable item that will constantly be wanted
the latter has a huge advantage ..Why jump over people to get one now if you can get one later at only a slight price increase.......
If this is a forum watch....which Mitch said..you really have to stop the presses and not have it turn into a cabbage patch doll, furby or tickle me elmo doll
Since I'm both a watch trader and a watch lover it appeals to me on both levels. The second watch I'm buying is just going in a safe, hopefully for many many years. We'll see how it goes with it, but anything with the word Ploprof in it is a collectible!
I came accross this photo of a protype ploprof, I'm sure you have all seen it before, and I was thinking, that with the red HEV crown the other crown might look good in red too, just a thought.

Much like what Todd posted above, I am buying this watch for its design concepts, styling and overall value. I think it's a really great looking watch with interesting characteristics, and is about as close as I'll come to a Ploprof since mine was stolen some years ago.
Thus, while the run is 300 cases for now, Mitch may decide at some point to make another production run, which is fine by me. It's good enough for me that I'm in on the ground floor and get one of these beauties sooner rather than later. And it is highly unlikely that I will ever sell this one, once it's on my wrist.

This will definitely not be a limited edition. That was never suggested or implied.
Black on sliver date rings have to be custom ordered. I'm waiting for a price.
I prefer the SW200 over the 2824-2. Whatever we get, there will not be movement choices.
I've asked that we research how anodized finishes react with salt water. I like this better than plastic. Let's see how it develops. Regardless, whatever we decide, there will be spares. This has to be decided soon.
An extra bezel kit (bezel, spring, etc.), will be included with each watch. As we discussed previously, the bezel insert will not be guaranteed.
The next cad revision will show the outline around the date, and also 5 minute marks.
We will try to set something up tomorrow, to track serial numbers. Please do not email me about numbers.

That all sounds great Mitch.
Is 282 the dead set dial color?
