    LM-7 (PloProf) design thread 2

This thread is the continuation of the original "LM-7 (PloProf) first drawing" thread.

    I'm leaning toward:

    Pantone 282 dial (dark blue)

    5 minute markers

stainless or red plastic capped HEV

We'll have a new drawing next week. The factory wants the design finalized by the end of next week.

This is the perfect scenario in my mind. Way too many black dial watches. I own 8 with black dials but have no blue dials. The dial configuration looks good with the 5 minute markers but wouldn't be a deal breaker for me either way.

Mitch, with those specs there is really not much more to talk about considering my preferences. Shape of the crystal and bezel type is about all that's left. I like the direction you have taken.

Re: LM-7 (PloProf) design thread (continued)

The plastic capped HEV is fine with me.

I like the black dial as opposed to the blue since I have a LM-3 which is blue. But, I can live with the blue if that is the choice. I just think the black is more classic and I like the look of it better with the black bezel.

I also like the dial better without the 5 min markers but, again, can live with whatever the decision might be. I think the dial is just cleaner and more modern without the 5 min markers. I am not a diver so really dont need the extra clutter. I do like the simpler dials in general and the Ocean7 dial is a great uncluttered design when it comes to the dials.

    Sounds great, Mitch.

Red plastic, if possible. In keeping with the original.

Everything is open to discussion, at least until the end of next week.

The crystal will definitely be flat like the original, but it will be sapphire, of course. I'm not convinced that inside AR coating does anything but give a purple tint, but people seem to like it.

I won't be around much for the rest of today and tomorrow.
