I think we should have a mesh bracelet as well. It will ad to the beauty of this stylish watch.

there has been talk of the mesh, I believe mitch could not find a vendor at the time or something like that.

You can source mesh bands over at the diver forum, there is a link there.

    here you go Mesh Straps

Re: LM-7 (PloProf) design thread 5

I picked up one today from Jurgens . they are making a 4mm thick (Same as the original Omega bracelet) 24mm tapering to 20mm w fliplock clasp. USA rep is Nate Griffin email is info@jurgensusa.com

Here is the link to Jurgens thread on the MWR (Military Watch Resource) Post Exchange
    http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showthread.php?p=27489

They come in 2 sizes 120-140mm and 135-155mm They will also make custom sizes as well. Price 165.99 USD
Nice feature of the 24mm "monster mesh" is the big diameter end tubes which will allow the use of larger size springbars.

I looked at the Jörg Schauer Artus Mesh as well, but their prices are out of sight. 490.00 USD for the 24mm mesh.

Also there is a seller on the TZ Sales Corner selling NOS Omegas Mesh bracelets as well. 288.00 USD
    Here is his link
    http://forums.timezone.com/index.php...=3195355&rid=0

He has lots of posts on TZ and seems to be a reputable seller.

Walt at lone Star Watches also sells a very nice mesh bracelet, with a double deployant type buckle. oin Sale now for 119.00 USD
    Here is his link:
    http://lonestarwatches.com/3.2Mesh.htm

So there you have quite a few choices, starting at 19.95 Buy it Now on FleaBay for a 24mm Mesh w/ a conventional type tang buckle (adjustment holes appear very far apart, so adjustments may be problematic. All the way up to 490.00 USD, with several steps in between.

    Hope this helps.

    Thx Arthur.

Go figure, the only one I like more than the NOS Mega...is the $490.

My taste may well be the most expensive thing I have.

The 282 dial looks very close to the modern Ploprof dial, judging from this one picture. Looks very good

that blue dial looks positively smashing and i'm usually not a big lover of blue dials (most are too light for my preference).

i'm confused though and haven't had time to follow all the threads......will there be more than one dial color choice for the LM-7?

I think the blue is probably 296, not 282. I'm waiting for an answer. I'm not really sure we need a sample using the lighter blue because it seems that most owners want 296. I'll set up a poll now and we'll see.

To make a textured finish, a die is pressed into the dial, or else the dial is etched. We'll see what stock textured patterns they have available.

The orange dial is only for the pvd special edition.

My vote(s) is for a lighter blue dial, rounded corners on the date window and black on silver date wheel. I know I won't get any of 'em, but I have to try at least!

Curious to see the other blue, but the sample looks about right.

    Textured finish...

I see the latest drawing....I think it's perfect.
    absolutely perfect!

(it'd be more prefect with an Omega style mesh bracelet ;) )
the Chinese can copy anything, it's hard to believe no one can make an affordable mesh in the style we want. oh well, it's a cruel, cruel world!
    Take care,
