    The original is brushed.

Here is a quick revision of the right side. This helps the bezel from protruding. Just a quick rendition.

I actually like the protruding version better.

Maybe my eye is playing tricks on me, but it looks like in Mitch's newest pic the lug width at the bottom (6 o'clock) position isn't the same as the top. If so, then that is what is throwing off the case and making the bezel overlap.

Either way, it doesn't look good.

I don't mind the bezel protruding either, I was just addressing 55kingpins comment.

Really? Is there a particular reason?

I honestly don't see how the bezel can function if it hangs over the case that much. Seems like it would be easy to pop off.....and that's not a good thing IMHO.

I'm wearing a watch right now where th bezel protrudes over the case. It's no problem with any of the many out there that do this.

Would you mind giving me some names. I'm obviously ill-informed as I've never seen a watch with a bezel that protrudes over the case.

Interesting. I guess if it doesn't hinder the function then I'm fine with it, but as far as aesthetics....it's not very pleasing to my eye.

    Thanks for the enlightenment gents.

    :thanks

My Marathon TSAR hangs over on the entire left side, which means the GSAR and the earlier Luminova GSAR do as well.

The more in the spirit of the original, the better in my opinion. My personal affinity to the PP is due to its unapologetic focus on its intended usage.

I agree 100% there. Here are a few pics I dug up for reference:

Note: I don't take credit for any of these photos. I just did a quick google search, and I personally hosted the ones I thought had good reference points.
