    OCEAN7 History 3 * LOCKED *

Since we have a new thread, please note the following:

The preorder list was closed out long ago. There is no waiting list.
Approximately 50 watches will be offered at a yet to be established, but more than reasonable, retail price.
There will be additional production runs, but no more limited edition watches for this model.
The watches should be available in October, plus or minus.
Please do not post private messages or inquiries, to this thread. Contact us at info@ocean7watchco.com.
The web site at www.ocean7watchco.com will be up and running, at least partially, by July 4, 2006.
There are several older threads that will tell you everything you want to know about OCEAN7, and more. Search and you will find.
We promise to answer ALL email quickly and professionally, and to provide excellent customer service.
Mouth watering tip - look for LM-2 CAD drawings, in about 30 days.

Here is the first case drawing. Changes we asked for are as follows:

Bezel edge - this one doesn't seem to go with the case design
Crown - logo will be changed to "O7"
    Lugs - 1mm wider

Notice the brushed lugs with flattened, polished edges. I really like this approach.

    Comments are welcomed!

I dunno?! Bezel edge looks extremely good to me.

Very pleased w/ overall design. This combination of brushed/polished finishes should be striking.

Absolutely. The lugs will be 1mm wider on the next drawing, but the spacing will still be 24mm.

    Re: Ocean 7 announcements * PART 2 *

Here's the first dial drawing. There are several changes being made, as follows:

    Remove lines around date window
    Minute hand wrong
Red tip on second hand should extend to the 'box'
    No inlays around markers
No "Swiss Made" on the bottom - we say it on the back, and once is enough. We don't need to unnecessarily clutter the dial.
Dial color is matt black, not glossy as stated in the specs

Here's a question - what color luminous material should we use? I've asked whether there is a difference in luminosity, but haven't received an answer yet.
