It is too difficult to use different lume on the black and colored dials because the bezel triangle should match, I think, and that makes it more difficult to decide what quantities of each dial color to assemble, based on demand. So we really have to stay with one type of luminous material.

Do you have a pic of the non GMT black dial version with strap and bracelet?

Ah yeah, forgot the bezel triangle... understandable then really! Makes no odds to me as I'm no lume freak but do quite like the gentle green of the C3 on the LM-1 dial

ventura - the LM-6 samples came with no lug holes drilled so sadly no strap/bracelet could be attached! I believe Mitch has mentioned the samples are off being drilled at the moment so expect some more complete pictures soon!

WOW, three pages and counting...Some strong interest in the LM-6. After receiving my LM-3 I am sold on Ocean7, now I just have to figure out what movement/dial for the LM-6 .

If I did not have a new Doxa in the wings I think I would get both a GMT and 2824-2 LM-6. Also thinking about looking for an LM-1 for sale.

Maybe I just need to sell a Breitling - Sell the bling and buy the real thing .

I had to send a 2893-2 movement to the factory because there was a problem with the GMT's movement spacer. At the same time I sent the cases to have their lug holes drilled. Hopefully bands will be sent back with them.

I like the C1 lume Mitch, you also get better a better colour match between dial and hand lume.

Looking at the LM-1 vs LM-3, I think you're right, John. I believe the apparent difference in hand and dial lume on the LM-1, is because the hand lume is applied in a skeletonized frame and the dial lume is applied over a solid backing. Maybe white is less transparent so that's why it appears to be a better match on the LM-3. Good point.

IMHO, white is so much better looking on colored dials.

The sample 2824 case will arrive today, with lug holes! A completed watch will be ready soon after it arrives.

The manufacturer is still working on the 2893 movement spacer issue.

    Re: LM-6 sample pictures

    Here it is!

This is almost production quality. What you don't see well in this picture is how nicely the bezel angles down toward the crystal. The crystal's dome is the same height as the outside diameter of the bezel.

This minute hand is painted in Pantone 021C. In a little while I will change the hour hand to black, and the second hand to the sample that is painted in Pantone 403C, which is the fluorescent color we will definitely use.

One undecided issue is what color to paint the hour hand - black or white. Maybe we will have the answer in a little while, after I change the hands.

A new picture will be posted shortly.
