    Re: LM-6 sample pictures

I'll try to drill lug holes tomorrow with the dremel. I always wondered how they got a drill in there to make the holes in the first place. Guess I'll see in September, when I visit the case factory. Anyway, if it works, I'll finish the watch, either the 2893 without the date wheel, or the 2824 with a black dial and all three black hands. Either one will look very strange. LM-3 hands will fit, but they are too short.

It looks like we're back to the blasted vs satin brushed argument.

Chris - I've been to every state except for Arkansas and each one is beautiful in its own way, but you live in the only state where I would consider delivering a watch personally. Then there's the UK, Sweden, Germany... this could be fun!

For my 2 cents, I'd go with the blasted finish... looks great

    Dials

Here are two lousy pictures. Needless to say, they look much better in person. The orange here will change to 804, which is a fluorescent color. The numbers on the reflector will be enlarged.

Brushed; besides, it is easy to get a watch beadblasted, but to get a beadblasted watch converted to brushed I don't think so.

Thumbs Up Re: LM-6 sample pictures

Whenever I say I'm done buying new watches, something like this happens. Absolutely love it so far! I ordered my LM-3 last night, and thought that was it for 2007, maybe not. Even though the LM-3 is blue, I find I have way more black dials in my collection, are there any plans for a blue face for the LM-6? Looks like I won't be getting the new Nautic Fish after all. Keep up the good work Mitch.

John, that is a good point nobody has mentioned. And it is much easier to repair a scratched brushed finish.

    Nice stuff...

Will be the black dial non-GMT for me... are those hands the final colours for each dial or will we be able to mix'n'match? Only reason I ask is that I know it's prefer the colours the LM-1 uses...

The hands on the left are for the orange and yellow 2824 dials. They did not send the correct hands for the black dial. They will be the same as used on the 2893 black dial.
