Mitch, some misc. comments:
Just my .02
- I understand the maintenance "concerns" of bead blasted watches, however I think it would be beneficial for Ocean7 to offer more variety and with the entire line of Ocean7 watches coming in a brushed finish the LM-6 would offer a distinct alternative if bead blasted IMHO.
- I prefer the GMT model and dials although I would not rule out a purchase of the straight diver.
- Will the LM-6 be offered with a bracelet?

I've been lurking here for a few months and decided it was time to post. I've been looking for my first Automatic and I was very interested in the LM-1, only to find out they had all been spoken for. I very much like the exclusivity of the Ocean7 brand, and although the other offerings from the company are very nice, they just weren't what I was looking for. Now the pictures of the LM-6 come along, and my interest is piqued again. Maybe you can answer some questions, as I cant seem to find them located in the threads below:
Any specifics on depth ratings been set for this watch?
Approximate cost for this series?
Will the lugs be screw in or spring bars?
Will it be offered on bracelet or strap or both?
Will it have a see through back?
I guess I'm looking for any and all information available at this time.
Looking forward to becoming part of the Ocean7 family.

Welcome, Mike.
Prices have not yet been determined. The watch will be rated at a minimum of 500m, possible 700m. A metal band similar to the LM-3 will be offered, and spring bars will be used. The watch will not have a display back.

Hi Mitch,
Why springbars? I love the screw bars, there are much more secure and easier to change straps quicker. Also, on the yellow dial, could the hour markers be outlined in black? That would make them show up better.

We will never use screw pins. We have had extensive discusssions on this subject.
I think the dial design will stay as it is, except the numbers on the reflector will be made larger.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply!

This is a great looking prototype. One question--what is the case thickness?
The LM-6 is a beauty. I'd been looking at a Doxa 1000T, but I may hold off to see the final look of this one. In orange of course...

From the top of the domed crystal to the bottom of the case, it is 16.5mm thick. Thick enough to house a 2824 or 2893 with an inner dust cover/anti-magnetic shield, or a thicker movement without the inner cover.
