My classes wee never that interesting or fun.
I may have to go to school again.
Todd - where do you teach?

Don't select this, it doesn't do anything. The poll requires at least two choices.

I've had half a dozen divers I'd thought were equipped w/ ETA motors (Oris) only to realize later they were Stellitas.
Hardly a "statistically significant sample", but I never suffered a hitch or hiccup w/ mine. Excellent timekeepers, and on the couple w/ exhibition casebacks, nice looking movements.
No complaints here!

If it's not taken may I have #13? Right-o.
Thank you
LSU? I went to Tulane :) As for what Mitch said about these not being of interest to the non-WIS public; I agree to a certain extent. Most of the regular public wouldn't quite know what to do with this massive divers watch. However, there are probably a lot of watch guys who would KILL for one of these if they only went to this forum and knew about it. An appearance in a watch magazine would put desire for this piece through the roof. The quality/price point is the best in ALL of watches (beating out Stowa, Omega, Sinn, etc...). It may even be sacrilege to say it, but the cases are even better made than Panerai (Panerai does a lot of the non-gold cases in China which is a big secret). I would think that conservatively the value of the Ploprof is double or triple what we are being charged for it.
Tulane is a wonderful school. Steeped in academia. The value of the Omega is about 8X actually at current market prices. I consider this the deal of the year. I was willing to go $1500 but don't tell Mitch.
