Does anyone know why there is a letter D inside a circle in oscillating weight? It is before text "Swiss Made..."
Earlier models do not have this.

I don't know for sure, but here is a possibility - In Canada, a capitol D inside a circle is marked on a product, or product label, to identify that it is a registered industrial design. See: Industrial Designs - Canadian Intellectual Property Office
