Oris Artix Date Pictures

Oris Artix Date is my new watch, and since I haven't seen any live pictures of it on the net, I want to share some pics for the fellas who are considering buying this fabulous watch. I have to say that the attention of Oris on the detais in this watch is amazing, the dial and the case are absolutely stunning. Enjoy the pics...

Very nice. Been thinking of getting the same model myself. It's a lovely piece. Kinda reminds me a bit of the iwc portofino :)

Thanks Naf, I think you wont be disappointed if you buy the Artix. Regarding the Portofino resemblance, I think that the Artix is more on the sporty side and the Portofino is more on the classy side. But honestly you can not compare Oris and IWC, basically the price differs too much between these brands.

You are definately correct in that the oris is sportier in styling as well as in specs (more water resistance) and yes of course a humble Oris is a couple of tiers below an iwc. There is still a resemblance though :)

also don't forget that the portofino is likely a minutely improved eta as apposed to one of iwc's offerings with heavily modified eta's or their in-house calibres. So whilst the difference is there it is probably not as much as IWC would like us to think... But I digress...

it's a lovely watch and I'm sure you will enjoy it for many years to come :) Incidentally I love the clasp on these. Much simpler to operate than the ones Tissot use as an example. Your thoughts....
