Looks great! Did you get it from the guy in Spain who does custom Oris straps?

    Thanks.

No, I just ordered some 24mm straps from Panatime and then notched them to fit.

Its not ideal and I think I will be ordering some custom straps as they would have more support between the lugs to prevent any stretching.

Most of the photos are of the 24mm Vintage Oiled Bomber, some of the others are the Vintage Smooth Sueded Tan.

I'll try and get some better pics so you can see the difference.

Nice initiative, mate. Looks pretty good too. The only problems are (1) the Oris straps are concave to "hug" the lugs a provide a more snug fit, and (2) if you get moisture in the notched area of your strap, it will possibly compromise the integrity of your strap.

Nevertheless, I like your thinking, Navitimer. Oris should take a clue from those of you/us out there notching there own leather straps -- Oris really should offer some OEM leather straps with the same geometry as their rubber straps. I'd be all over those, and many others would too I bet!!

Agreed. This is one of the biggest knocks against Oris-the lack of strap options. I would think that by introducing a few options for the diver line, they would sell many, many straps. They kind of have the markey cornered.
