Invicta Aussie Automatic Pro Diver Review by OWS1

I want to give credit to Invicta they appear to have really outdone themselves with this one. Invicta has many of us very critical of their products so I thought this was a good time to take a close look at this new diver. Let me commit on some of the things I look for in a diver. Size, this one is perfect for me. The band is not quite as thick as some of them but very nice and well made, it is very close to the same thickness as the Steinhart, making it very flexible on the wrist. The watch head is not only a great size but the finish is spot on as well. I really think this IP Black will hold up well. Great 120 click bezel and there is no slop as with many cheaper divers. Over all fit and finish on the two I received is excellent 9 out of 10 if I have to give it a grade. The movement ? well what can you say about this work horse, they always seem to run better out of the box than my Seiko's.
If you missed these at the intro price you missed a winner. Even at $350 full retail I believe this is a best buy. I actually like the roman numerals and the lume is as good as any out there. Their new logo is great and a nice new touch. Honestly folks I have tried hard to find fault in this one but have to tell you I can not. I have been waiting a long time for a great low priced true dive watch and Invicta has done an excellent job with this one.

    # Bracelet: stainless steel
    # Movement: automatic Miyota 8205
    # Crystal: sapphire coated mineral
    # Crown: screw down
    # Clasp: deployant
    # Bracelet Measurements:

    Men's: 8-3/4"L x 22mm W
    # Women's: 8-1/2"L x 16mm W Case Measurements:

    Men's: 44mm
    # Women's: 35mm Water Resistance: 30ATM – 300 meters – 1000 feet

Really hard to get the black MOP to pop. But let me assure you it is every bit as good as the white.

OWS1, I really enjoyed your review of Invicta's new prodiver. I have purchased the Black with white MOP and couldn't be happier. Everything you said is true. It is a lot of watch for the money ($149.95). I am especially impressed with the quality of workmanship and I am glad they used the Miyota 8205 movement. It is fairly accurate and bullet proof. I also think the black IP finish will last a long, long time plus the new sting ray logo is cool. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.

    Regards,

    Bill

Just purchased this watch used, and the watch looks like new. Keeps time to within a few seconds a day, and it looks as well made as my GMT Master II.

    Love this watch.
