    Parker Camouflage Pen

    Hello All,

First to note, I am a watch guy, not a pen guy. Now that I got that out of the way, I found an old camouflage Parker Pen that I acquired many years ago. I checked the website, and it appears it is no longer made. I found very little information on it, and it is missing the refill. I owned another Parker pen in the past but wasn't impressed with its writing smoothness, does anyone know anything about this Parker pen, or can they tell me what refills are compatible with it? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Photos? Especially one with the barrel removed would provide quick answers.

    Re: Parker Camouflage Pen

    Hello Wojo,

I'm looking at my three Parker camouflage pens (2 roller ball and 1 ballpoint) as I type this. One roller ball and the bp are in the green European forest style and the other roller ball is in the newer, light brown desert style format. I got the green ones in the late 80's if I remember right and the light brown one some time in the 90's.

The bp takes the same Parker ball point pen refill that every Parker has taken since 1954, or somewhere around there; available everywhere. The rollerballs weren't around that long, but they take the same Parker rb refill since there conception.

heb, thank you for the information. perchance is there any way another refill would fit, like something from Pilot or Uniball? If not I will just use a Parker refill.

Well, I guess I had the Rollerball version because the ball point refill didn't fit.

    Wojo,
If I remember right, 30-35 years ago, Parker included a plastic adapter with their rollerball pens so that their ballpoint refills could also be used with it. Unless you have such an adapter, a Parker ballpoint refill will not fit in a Parker rollerball pen.

I don't know of any "universal" refill that would fit in your pen. The easiest solution is to buy an authentic Parker rollerball refill. I've lived in a number of locations in the US (but not NJ) and in each one Parker products were easily found everywhere.

Good luck in your quest and hope you start writing soon,
    heb
