26mm Alligator/croc strap on a Velatura?

Hi

Can you fit a leather strap on a Seiko Velatura model watch? I would like to fit a leather alligator/croc grain golden brown style strap apparently lug width is 26mm. Is this possible or is the case design not allow for it?

I just looked on-line @ ebay for Velatura, all the watches I see are 20mm strap. They look like they take a standard 20mm strap. 26mm is a very large lug-to-lug, are you sure it's 26mm?

Yes it is 26mm lug width, the jeweller measured it and said you can`t get a strap here to fit it we only get 24mm largest size available from Hirsch etc. Here is the watch listed on ebay (for picture purpose only).
