Thumbs Up Anton Straps & Buckles

Hello everybody! Let's be familiar: my name is Anton ... and I'm a stapogolik from Moscow, Russia!)

In early 2015, I became the owner of the Panerai 359 and was fascinated by the study of straps and buckles of various manufacturers, which resulted in my own collection of straps and buckles. These sets I collected very thoughtfully, so that the strap and buckle matched each other, creating harmony.

I also "infect" my wife with a new hobby, which now reliably changes the straps to her STEINHART "Russian Ladies Special Edition Tulip black 2016", and her still modest collection of straps slowly but surely grows)

For my straps I not only bought buckles around the world, but also invented a few of my own. This process fascinated me, I have ideas of unusual buckles for watch straps and I gradually embody my ideas in life.

Here I will show my sets "strap + buckle" and my author's buckles separately. Perhaps, it will be interesting and useful for someone ;)

    Re: Anton Straps & Buckles

This is the first buckle I designed. It was like this: I saw a simple buckle on which "In PAM we trust" was written. This witty slogan liked me and I brought under it an interesting concept.
This is a porthole. With reliable fasteners - bolts and nuts. The seaman-submariner looks through glass at the depths of the sea and the reliability of the mechanism. It gives him the confidence that everything will be fine.
On the thorn of the buckle, you can see the firm Panerai arrow. It is directed upwards, giving additional faith in successful ascent, ascent to the surface.

The buckle is very massive. Its size is about 42 mm in diameter (for the strap 24 mm), and the weight in silver is 20 grams.
The buckle has an anatomical bend and fits perfectly on the arm.

    Hi, Guys!)
Thanks for the welcome! Once I also thought that massive buckles are unreal to wear. But now I adore big spins! If the bend on the hand, then they are very convenient. Yes, it's a big buckle, but later I'll post photo of monster buckle ;)))

    Re: Anton Straps & Buckles

Today about the strap "sport" and a massive copper buckle!
It seemed to me that such a buckle would fit perfectly to such a strap, so I ordered this pair of the master

Strap three-layer - the upper part of a worn ball for rugby. Lower-black calf. Inside insert for stiffness.Buckle copper, massive. After a while it's darker, covered with patina.
Most of my straps I mercilessly mash, so that they become perfectly soft. On the back of the short part, the effect is seen in comparison with the undeveloped long part.

That's how the watch looks on the watch. As you can see, there is only one hole. I pierced him on my own hand.

The strap fits perfectly on the arm. I put the keeper on the seam - so it seems to me more beautiful)

My author's buckle "Periscopio" Written in italian as a respect for the italian roots of the watch Panerai. The warship hit the sight of the submarine and will soon be destroyed.
The buckle is quite large, but thin. Has an anatomical bend.
