So I just got two more straps a couple days ago from Brusnitcyn! I ordered these two for specific reasons... I recently bought a Tudor Black Bay used off another forum member, and unfortunately they had sold all the Tudor straps separately from the watch (cash money!?!!?), this left me without a strap I felt really "nailed it" for this watch. Additionally I loved the idea of the Tudor default leather strap with it's vintage looks so wanted a look alike for that in a manner of speaking. The strap I ordered specifically for the BB though... well it is really good. I am just stupidly happy with it and love it to death, it is even better than I thought it would be honestly.

So it is going to take center stage here, and pics of the vintage will have to wait for a later post! So without further ado I will let the pics speak for themselves. Here is my Tudor on a custom hand painted croc strap, enjoy.

And to cap it off, an early morning wrist shot! Pardon the cell phone camera on this one ;)

That strap is very extraordinary. The surface and the color.

    Re: BRUSNITCYN Straps. Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

Okay all, I once again have to apologize for a pic heavy post in this thread.

A few months ago I ordered a custom strap from Brusnitcyn for my Oris Aquis, I think it is fair to say my requests on this strap were fairly complex. I just want to say in advance, she had never made a strap for an Aquis before, and she had no Oris Aquis to work with. All of the measurements came from pretty rough photos I took of the strap, and some rough measurements I did myself. So any fit issues are in my opinion forgivable in this case, and the fit is off just a little bit. I think if the notched part were 1mm shorter the fit would basically be perfect, so it is really close.

All of that aside, the strap is superb. When someone orders a custom watch strap they must have some kind of visual image of what they want the strap to look like, and I am no different. In all the straps I have ordered a few have met that mental image, most fall a little short, but that is fine because the mind will always see an ideal product that doesn't consider real world factors. This is the only strap I have ever ordered from anyone that has exceeded my idea of what the strap would be. It is quite simply the coolest, and dare I say, maybe the best strap I own now. No picture I take will do it justice, it is just a fantastic strap.

The only bad I can find with it is the previously mentioned slightly off fit, and the keeper is a little stiff and hard to thread the strap through. Some might be concerned that it has no stitching, but that doesn't really worry me. Other than that it is all good, and there is wayyyyyy too much good for me to write it out. I won't talk about what I paid, other than to say that if this had been from a more well known maker, say Gunny or Dangerous 9, the cost would have been at least double.

So enough BS, here is some pics.

Just an overview shot of the strap, nothing fancy. I did take these pics in early morning direct sunlight so bear with the hard lighting a bit. You will notice the rayskin is casting a shadow, that's because for most of the strap it is elevated above the other hide.... which I am not sure what kind of hide it is, but it looks cool and that's all that counts.

Just a picture of the tip on the long end of the strap. I wanted to make sure to get one image so it could be shown how it comes to a point on the rayskin, it does this on both sides of the strap. While I am thinking about it I don't think I have a pic of the buckle, it is a black DLC thumbnail buckle. The keeper is a single 10mm wide floater made from the same hide with the scratchy texture.

Complimentary glamour shot, ready for instagram and all other social media!!11!1 If anyone is curious I achieved the weird lighting effect by putting a bottle of water between the watch and the window. It is an Aquis after all, seemed fitting.

Finishing up with a complimentary wrist shot.

I do have one more strap from Brusnitcyn as well, a really nice grey croco. I will post some pics of it later once the watch I ordered it for arrives, which should be later this month or early next month. Brusnitcyn.... feel free to steal these images and or use them on your own social media if you want.

Coincidentally I recently sent my Oris F1 Chrono lugs to B to build a horn back. I didn't want it to be gappy so I sent the lugs. Hopefully I'll have it soon.

Gap really doesn't bother me, it looks worse in the pictures than it actually is. It is maybe 1-1.5 mm in reality.
