    Distressing a strap

I have a leather strap that is just a little too new looking. I would like to break it in, both from a comfort point of view but also from a look point of view. How would you suggest going about "distressing" a strap?

    Thanks.

    Wear it.

Seriously though.. something I have tried with a cheap leather strap is to bend it back and forth throughout the length of the strap...guess it worked for me..
