Hirsch VS Bonetto Cinturini rubber straps?

Which one is better? Which should I buy?
    (the price difference doesn't matter)

I have not had the Hirsch although their leather straps are excellent quality and I would expect their rubber to be as well. I do have a Bonetto Centurini and feel it is very good quality. I doubt Hirsch could be any better. If money is not the issue then buy the style you like.

I can't find details online but assume by the price point that the Bonetto Rubber straps are made from Synthetic Rubber whereas the Hirsch range are made from Natural Rubber that carries a premium.

The Hirsch rubber straps are soft and flexible, tear resistant and will not fade with sunlight and on the whole are not dust magnets and backed up with a 12 month warranty.

The Centurini straps are also made of natural rubber, are also soft and flexible. Mine has attracted no dust and lint unlike the silicone straps that often sell for as much. That's what makes them such a bargain.

Maybe you could point me in the right direction to where it confirms this as we would be interested in stocking them, I always go onto manufacturer's websites for confirmation and on the Bonetto one there is no mention that the straps are made from natural rubber.

There have been numerous posts here about Cinturini straps so maybe you should do a search if you are looking for proof. I have had silicone and the one I have is not silicone. If you want to be a dealer why not contact the company and get the answers straight from them?

Come on Gary... I know you carry Hirsch, and they are a very very nice strap indeed. I purchased my Extreme from you around 2 years ago for my Helson Sharkdiver. As nice as the Hirsch is, I would need to get ahold of a Pure to compare it to my Cinturini 317's. The Bonettos are an italian rubber. They are the stock rubber straps for many companies looking for a high end rubber strap and an excellent price. Companies like Bali Ha'i Project, Momentum and H20 all use Bonetto's for their rubber strap. There are others I believe use them as well, but I am not 100% sure if they are in fact a Bonetto. The thing I love about the Bonettos, they don't attract lint/dust and they smell phenomenal. For the price, they can't be beat.

WiZARD7, another good link is the following: BEST Rubber Dive Strap? - Please chime in!

You will see alot of Bonetto Vs. ISO in this thread, but keep in mind you are comparing the Bonetto which can be had for around $30 US to the ISO which is around $120. For the $30, the Bonetto CANNOT be beat.

thx, ISO is not for me, I would like some simple strap for my Fortis Pilot Professional Chronograph. (Hirsch Pure or Hevea, or something like that from BC)

Re: Hirsch VS Bonetto Cinturini rubber straps?

My choice would be between the Bonetto Cinturini 317, or the Hirsch Pure. Both are very simple, clean and high quality rubber straps. The Pure has sharper edges, a much nice buckle and 2 keepers. The Bonetto 317 has a mild taper on the edges, buckle is very plain and basic (almost cheap) with 1 keeper.

thx, I've orderd Bonetto Cinturini 306 + 270, they are so cheap, and the shipping is relative expensive... I'll see which looks better.
(the 2 BC, with shipping costs half of the Hirsch)

I'll check the Hirsch at some local store, and if it is better, maybe buy it...
