    Lum-Tec Combat B3 on a watchadoo bracelet

Yesterday I mounted my Combat B3 on a watchadoo bracelet. I had been happy with the various leather straps I had been wearing, but now I have found what really fits great and looks great! I think it has a "from the factory" look now.

The watchadoo has a bead-blasted finish which matches the B3 perfectly. I bought my watchadoo used and it did not have spring bars. The regular thickness 22 mm spring bars are simply too loose. I contacted Frank at watchadoo in Australia and he sold me the Seiko fat spring bars which are 2.5mm in diameter. However, the Seiko fat bars do not fit into the holes in the B3 case. My friendly jeweler ground down the ends of the spring bars to make them the proper diameter to fit into the holes in the case. Now it fits perfectly.

I am finding that the B3 looks great on a black strap, a honey brown strap and now on the watchadoo stainless bead blasted bracelet. What a great watch with great looks! Cheers, Bill P.

Looks spectacular! I'm thinking it could only look better with curved ends, but the straight ends surprisingly work well! The first link seems to follow the contour of the lugs perfectly.

I agree! Someone somewhere has got to be able to match the endlinks with the bracelet.

Sweet a$$ combo, looks like a good union even with the straight bar, the only watches i own that i think need the curved OEM bracelets are the C and J Sar.
