Orange rubber on black diver- does it work?

I have been contemplating adding some colour to my Seiko SNZF17 for the summer in the form of an orange rubber strap (standard strap or rubber NATO). I haven't been able to find any photos of people that have done the same thing with a watch that itself has no orange in. I.e. every example I've found has been an orange strap on an orange dialed watch, not a black dialed watch.

So will this combination work in a pleasing way do you think?

I think it works great; if you like orange that is Granted, my SKX013 doesn't have a black case, and there is actually a bit of orange on the dial (the "DIVERS 200m" text) which was my "excuse" for buying an orange strap in the first place... If you go for the Nato approach, it's very easy to change straps, so why not buy a handfull of straps and match to mood, clothing or whatever!

Yep, I agree. I think an orange strap would make any black or blue dialed faced watches pop. Contemplating on putting a Crafter Blue one on my black Sumo.

Ok I'm convinced enough to try it. Lots of nice straps that cost 1/3 the price of the watch, so going for something cheap to start with

It should be a great combo. But since black is slimming...your strap may look thinner than it is :D
