Someone sent me a Riveted Rolex bracelet they found in a drawer. not a watch person .It had no end links, and a rivet head missing. They knew I am a watch freak so they thought I would like it. I fixed it, added end links and polished it to look much nicer as it was scratched . It is not very stretched and has minimal if any, wear marks now. How can I tell if it's a REAL one. I know it's as real looking as any I've seen online in many articles I've read.
It is marked 1635 on the corner. I chose end links that are more modern because they ride higher and tighter than others I tried. They are hollow , folded , as are the bracelet hollow links. The clasp is tutone as the center is brushed and the sides are polished. The crown on the clasp is very nice...not shallow stamping but deep and detailed.
I threw it on a Mark 1 Daytona vintage model and it just makes the watch.
Can anybody tell me how to know it's real ?
