Got mine yesterday (Bond HD 20mm) but its too long! I guess Im right in between wrist sizes. Beautiful strap though and well worth the money. I already ordered a short version and have posted the other one for sale in the strap forum for anyone that wants theirs without having to wait a few weeks.

I have a question for anybody that owns any or all of these. What are they like when they are wet? Do they stretch out when wet like regular natos?

Hmm, good question. Will test and get back to you.

@ half the price, albeit not nearly in the same league, I’ve had really great luck with these:

And, wet-testing results are in, with some interesting numbers.

All straps that were tested are the same straps ones photographed above, all of which are 22mm in width. Measured the end-to-end lengths while dry, and then dunked the straps into water for an hour before I measured them again while they were still wet. Have converted the length increases to percentages, as the straps are not all of the same length.

    Dry length(mm) Wet length(mm) Increase(mm) % Increase
    Random reg. NATO
    254 264 10 3.94
    AlphaShark
    275 284 9 3.27
    Cincy “SB” 287 306 19 6.62
    PhenomeNato
    286 301 15 5.24
    WatchGecko proto.
    290 306 16 5.52
    ToxicBUTTA
    287 289 2 0.70

Compared to a "standard" NATO, which only stretched ~3.9%, all the "seatbelt" fabric straps seemed to stretch a bit more, between 5.2-6.6%.

The thick AlphaShark stretched a bit less, but the ToxicBUTTA hardly changed at all, with a miniscule 0.7% stretch.

(Sample size of one for each strap, so take the numbers with a grain of salt of course :P)

^ Wow! Thank you. I never expected that much detail. I was expecting "yeah, they stretch out, too" or something. But that's fantastic.

    Thanks again. I appreciate it.

Not even close. I've owned a bunch of CWS straps and wore this a couple days back.

They're OK. But it's not even remotely close to same league as my phenomenatos.
