    Smoke smell on rubber strap

    hello,
I just bought a used watch and noticed that the rubber strap has a cigar odor to it. It is an OEM strap and I can not find the parts anymore. Does anyone know how I can rid the smoke smell from the rubber strap?

I have had that issue before. I put it in a ziplock bag with a dryer sheet for a few days, then wear it in the shower for a few days...

Encourage someone. The world has enough critics.

Start smoking cigars and you won't notice the smell any longer.

Vamoose works on fabric, I have not tried it on rubber. It is expensive.

I tried some 303 protectant. It worked well but smelled like 303 for a bit....
