Confused Stainless steel bracelet - fit issues

    Hello all,

I recently acquired a vintage watch on a stainless steel bracelet with removable links, but I'm having some fit issues. Essentially, there are no half-links (nor are there any available for this particular bracelet), and taking off one link makes it too tight, but leaving it as-is makes it too loose (which I find particularly uncomfortable).

I love the watch and I love the original strap. What I'm looking for are ideas on "hacks" to make the bracelet fit a little better. A friend/collector suggested a rubber band on the bracelet, but that... that just seems awful.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Hi. I feel your pain. What sort of clasp does it have? Could you replace it with a longer one or one with micro adjustments?

    Howdy,

That's essentially what I'm trying to avoid - it's a vintage watch, the bracelet is original, and while I can remove links, I don't want to change anything about it.

    Thanks though!

    Go on a diet.

But seriously, you could post us pics so we know what you're dealing with. Doing it sight unseen seems a bit of a reach.
