Strap input requested Hirsch vs Rios vs ???

So I have been looking at alligator/croco straps in a hue of brown, from light to dark but am undecided as to what brand.
The strap will be for a sarb035 and an Orient Star Classic (white dial).
I have searched seemingly endlessly on here and other sites looking at pictures and even ordered a "no name" strap that looked fantastic and came highly recommended, but when it arrived it looked great but was uncomfortable and "felt" cheap on the wrist. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have a way to see them in real life and I don't want to order a bunch of straps that just need to be returned.

For some perspective, I have owned a 1st gen Bambino and didn't like the oem strap so I put it on a Dassari with deployant clasp and was happy. While I liked the Dassari and have nothing bad to say about it, I think I would like something better. I had a Hirsch Liberty in the past and was very impressed with the quality. The OEM on the Orient Star classic isn't bad, but I want something in the "brown" family, as stated earlier and something a bit better.

I currently have the Orient Star on a Debeer Ostrich grain, havana color, which I am actually pleased with, but really want to add a alligator/croc strap to the mix.
So that brings me two the two mentioned in the title, the Hirch Duke and the Rios 1931 Louisiana. I am open to other suggestions as well and also have thought about the Debeer line offerings since I am happy with the Ostrich grain I have. I have just heard and read so much about the Hirsch Duke and the Rios is why they are at the top of my list as not only looking good in pics but having that high quality feel. Below are links to all the straps mentioned.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!!

No experiences with others except Rios louisiana. It starts stiff and requires a bit of seasoning. Otherwise great for the price.
Great proportions, nice stitching and a blue shade which I love.

I hate "embossed croc" straps. That said, the Hirsch and Rios will both work well and be quality if that is what you want. Rios does require a "little" more break in than Hirsch in my experience, but not much.

Just out of curiosity, why the hate for "embossed croc"?
Is it just the look or do you prefer genuine?

Embossed croc always has a cheap tacky feel, most of them aren't leather on the top layer they are a thin coating of plastic like material on top of leather. They crack easily in my experience as well.

As for real croc? Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I have both Hirsch and Rios but I have different lines for both. I have the Modena for Hirsch (which I think is one level below Duke) and a Rios Bund. I find the two off equal quality and comfort. I think the Hirsch is going to hold up a little better over the long haul. Both look extremely good. A

as for level of quality, I'd rate both as average for a mass manufactured brand. They are inexpensive though so I can't complain. Might want to look at bobs. Even cheaper and I'd say just slightly lower quality.

Bobs Straps. It's a brand out of the U.K. They are around $20 and the sell through many platforms including eBay.

    I appreciate that.

Bobs is actually the seller on ebay I was looking to buy the RIOS from! lol

It seems the RIOS and Hirsch are on par quality wise for just a few dollars more than Bobs, while Bobs brand seems like a lower quality level.
