Off topic Is this taking Customer Service a little too far ???

We always try our utmost to make sure customers get 100% satisfaction, not always achieved but we work hard at it and are always improving our systems to make the processing of orders as easy as possible, if anyone thought running an internet company was easy I dare you to have a go !!

Anyway, the other day I printed off an order and whilst checking it I noticed that they had added a note, " Please draw a giraffe on the package"

I thought a little strange and showed Mathew and we had a laugh about it, a little later Mathew called me over to where he was processing / packing the orders and said, "What do you think ?"

Here is his result, just hope our customer is satisfied when they receive the order !!!!

I think that will be the first and last drawing request we will honour, so don't get any ideas !!!

This is a growing trend I have noticed while cruising other places on the internet. Some like to request something silly like this. Its usually always meant in good fun and if it is actually honoured, its a fun little plus for the customer. Plus, as you experienced, it can be fun for the company as well.

That was cool of you to do that. A good sense of humor is also an important part of customer service when dealing with us crazed watch junkies..............

Luckily it was a giraffe, not a copy of the "Soft Watch at the Moment of First Explosion" painting....

I always thought packages with giraffe's on them were exempt from customs fees?
