    TheWatchBarn.com = terrible

    Anyone ordered from here before? I purchased a grey Zulu band TWO WEEKS ago and it has still not arrived, even though the website's terms and conditions says the max shipping time is 7 days. I didn't become upset until after 3 days of phone calls and emails, I have yet to be responded to. Zero, zilch, nothing. Should I call my credit card company and stop payment?

    I would. If a company can set up shop and provide such poor service, this is the only avenue consumers have to correct them. When they get a charge back enough times, they will either shut down or shape up.

    That may sound harsh, but don't set up a business you can't support and don't provide information on your site that is not real.

    Go to panatime.com or strappedfortime.com and you will get an email back in a day or 2 with shipping info after you place an order.

    I ordered two bands from him. After quite a while, he did send two. Unfortunately, one was the wrong one. After several e-mails and threatening to contact credit card company. He did send the correct one and a pre-paid envelope to return the wrong one back to him.
    I would never order from him again, tho. There are way too many other strap sellers. Just my 2 cents.

    I filed a BBB complaint... not expecting anything from him really. I called my credit card company and since the order went through, I'd have to write in a hand-written letter explaining what happened, then they try to get a hold of the merchant. If he is unresponsive I will get my refund in..... 2 MONTHS. wow.

    Really disappointed. How can you be an authorized dealer and get away with... well... theft!? I paid $25 and received nothing, and the guy doesn't even have the decency to answer his phone or check his email.

    The only positive out of all this is that this thread pops up as the 3rd result when you google "TheWatchBarn".

    I hope everyone thinking of buying from Jeff Smith finds this thread and goes elsewhere.

    Speaking of which: I ordered the same strap from Countycomm.com this morning. 2 hours later I got my UPS shipping notification with a... wait for it... TRACKING NUMBER; Who'd a' thought!

    This better be the best damned watch strap in the world...
