    it's a workhorse that's tried and test. superior or not, i think it's subjective. it's a eta 2824.

    I think it's a pretty high grade though. Not your run of the mill 2824.

    But he is correct, it is all subjective.

    ETA makes a number of different grades for its movements and Tudor uses the highest grade that can be adjusted to chronometer specs. That's not to make the lower grades to be pieces of junk...except here on the watch forums, the 'normal' watch owner would be hard pressed to tell the difference as the lower grades can also perform very well with proper adjustment and new synthetic lube oils.
