Question HELP!... Setting the hands up -- Tudor Prince Oysterdate 74000

    Hello all :)

I have a Tudor Prince Oysterdate 74000 automatic, must be from late 70's or 80's, not sure, but it is quickset date.

How do I set the hands to correct time via the crown?... is my issue!!

I have un-screwed the crown and the date quickset in position 1, rotating clockwise.

How do i set the time ???

    thanks for the help all

You need to pull the crown out to position 4 (i.e. as far as it will go) to change the time. Refer to below:

There could be a fault with the watch. If the crown does not pull out to the 4th position (time change position) easily then I suggest you take it to a watchmaker for assessment before you do anything else. The Tudor's have an ETA movement which should be familiar to any competent watchmaker.

Good luck and hope you get it sorted!
