Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of buying either a Chrono Avenger or a Sea Dweller. Which do you think I should get and why?
I have posted this question to the Breitling forum also.

Welll...you are asking someone from a Rolex forum,I think you can expect the answer from us. ROLEX!
But mainly, the design is simply fantastic...timeless classic. The resale value is better than a Breitling =)
Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust
Rolex Explorer II SOLD =(
Hi
It really depends on what you want
a) A classic Rolex design that been proven over a long period of time and will have great resale value.
b) A blingy fashion watch that will not survive hard use and will be virtually worthless in a few years when you come to sell it.
From bitter personnal experience stick with Rolex, they may be a little more expensive but their quality is in a different world to Breitling

The Rolex! Why? Its an investment.
First of all which one grabs you, your preffered "eye candy",then if you are thinking long term, either investment or resale.
The Rolex,without a doubt.

It seems a strange comparison between two very different watches to me. The SeaDweller is a deep diving watch with standard display and the Breitling Chrono Avenger while still a diving watch is a Chronogrph with three subdial display. Why not compare the Rolex Seadweller to the Breitling Avenger Seawolf? They are much more similar in form and function. I owned both and they are both very nice watches. Each has advantages as well as disadvantages over the other. Both are well made and very tough. I prefer the SeaDweller overall but that does not discount the Seawolf as not being a very capable and nice watch.
