Confused Seadweller: Will I get used to its size?

    Hello,

I have a 6.75" wrist, and really love the look of the Rolex Seadweller. I tried several on, but it always seems like a to tiny watch for my wrist. I'm used to 42/43mm watches (Tag Heuer Carrera 42mm wears fine). The SDDS is to heavy/big and expensive for me.

Did someone else thought it was to small but bought it and got used to it?

By the way i'm also thinking about buying an Omega PO 8500 42mm, any thoughts on that (I know I post this in the Rolex forum)? :)

    Best regards!

You are just used to looking at bigger watches. The seadweller however is a good choice and it is not that small. In the event you are tired of it, you can always flip it easily.

Agreed, good choice, not too small for that size wrist. Your used to looking at bigger watches.

Yes, you'll definitely get used to it. I've worn as big as 47-48 mm pieces (on my 7 1/4" wrist) and though they seem large at first, you get used to the size pretty quickly...and then the 40 mm ones seem tiny...till you wear them again for awhile and readjust. Give it a chance--it's a gorgeous watch!

I have a 6.7" wrist. I was gifted a Bulova Precisionist Claremont by a great friend. I wore it for weeks, and I just can't get used to the 44mm size. As I wear 36-40mm watches regularly. Not sure what to do with it, I've been told to sell it.

here's a suggestion on how to adjust to the size: don't wear a watch for a couple of weeks, then put on the sea dweller. It will seem like a perfect fit.

Sorry, Seiko is not really my thing but I know the brand itself is pretty good, they have good movements :)

Yeah, good idea. I'm actually doing that now for 3 days without even reading your tip :D

But guys, I may have to disappoint you, I went for the 42mm Omega planet ocean 8500. :)
Maybe I will flip it later for a seadweller, who knows.
