Hmm..that 1. I am not sure if Exp II should have it. My P series Exp II didnt have that problem.
Well,firstly where did you get the watch? Could u get us a pic of the watch ? Face and the clasp esp..clear ones if possible. THanks

I hope that this is of some useI recently went to my AD and we spoke about this issue. So to help clear up the question, the manager produced a selected range of Rolex watches, which included a DD and the new S/S GMT Master and all the watches had the small Rolex crest at the 6 o'clock position on them.
Depending on the age of the watch, it may not have the crest on it.
You will have to ask your AD what serial letter the watch is i.e. Y,Z,M etc. Because as we all know, some models sell more slowly then others and just because the watch is displayed in the window dosen't necessarily mean that it will be the latest model.
I thought anything recent with sapphire crystal should have it? Fakes have a really obvious one but they are getting better. A small flashlight at the top of the dial should help it stand out, play with the angles and you will get it.

I would assume all current Rolex models have the etched crown in the crystal.

OK thanks. I wanted to find out since my friend has the same model and it doesn't have it. Maybe his is older/newer/different version in some way we didn't realize.
This watch is a replica, and the logo looks nothing like the one scottjal posted.
Notice the date - the 6 is the wrong font (I learned that from the video on how to spot a fake). Also the GMT hand is bent, and rust-looking junk is forming all over it (at the 22, for example).
No, I don't wear it!

My Explorer II (bought from an AD) has the laser crown at 6. It is a Z serie.

Just had a look at my SD Z seris and it has it, I never noticed it before,cool, I will be sure to point it out to my mates that believe I have a fake
