but guys..how do u take a pic of ur watch and its so CLEAR?I am using a 3.2 mpx camera,is it bcoz of the camera?

A high end camera is not really necessary to make some decent macro shots, I made the above picture using a quite basic 5 megapixel Canon Ixus camera. Some basic rules:

- always use a table tripod or whatever to prevent motion blur
- enable the macro setting (Canon tulip symbol)
- use the self timer
- take your pictures during broad daylight
- disable the flash

Here is my 6238 that I bought in 1968 for the grand sum of $219.30.
At the time I also considered the Omega Seamaster Chrono that was very similar in appearance and a few dollars less. I did get the Omega a number of years later and have a side by side pic for comparison. I could not imagine the difference in appreciation of these watches.
