Ambit 1.5 - getting Route into the watch

I can't figure it out. And therefore feeling kind of dense.

I've made Routes using the tool, but dont see anyplace in the Route Tool area to push them to the watch.
In the Gear - Ambit - Navigation area it says "here are your POI and Routes", but only POIs are listed.

    So... What am I missing?

As far as I know first you have to exercise then you can make route accordingly.

Hmm. That would be as close to useless a Route feature as I can think of...
Seeing how it looks in the watch in the "1.5 Video", and how it works in the Movescount Route Tool, I think it's all ready except getting onto the watch.

I just did almost the same thing but I started in the Navigation area where it says "here are your POI and Routes" rather than in the route tool. There was an option to "Create new route with waypoints (in route planner)" which takes you to the route planner. When I finished entering a few waypoints and saved the route, it appeared in the "here are your POI and Routes" area immediately. Also I noticed while editing the route that there's a "Use this route in watch" checkbox (enabled once you put the first waypoint in), which presumably controls whether or not it gets downloaded to the watch. I made sure that was ticked (which it was by default), connected the watch and after the sync the route is now on the watch. The "Use this route in watch" checkbox also appears in the "POI and Routes" area so you can change the setting without going into the route tool.

The Navigation option on the watch lists "POIs" and "Routes" and after selecting "Routes" my new route was listed (it first said that there was 1 route, which is correct). After selecting the route it showed all the waypoints. The Next button then brings up a menu with options to "Navigate" or "View" (which just goes back into the waypoint list). The "Navigate" option prompts me to re-calibrate my compass which I haven't had chance to do since the firmware update so I haven't gone any further than that, but I assume it would then go on to find a GPS signal and start navigating.

None of this required the exercise menu to be used at all so you should be able to navigate without also logging your exercise if you just want to get somewhere.

The routes with waypoints created initially in Routeplanner appear in Navigation>Routes but non-waypointed ones don't

    Thanks for the details petem99.
I just don't see the "Create new route" link in the Navigation area.

I've refreshed. I've logged off and on. I've tried two browsers I've cursed. I've cried.

When I expand POI, I see the "create new POI" and all the POIs, but nothing else.

I've created a route in the Route Tool directly and understand what you descibe there.

Can you post a screen shot of the link within the Gear - Navigation area? For my sanity.

Weird, but I don't see the "Create new route..." option in navigation.

Do you have any routes at all recorded? You may need to make one public?
