Focus on what you want to happen, not what has happened.
Lovely. If you can change the tread title to just "Ambit in Action", I suspect we might get ourselves a nice collection of Ambit shots. Yours is a great one to start the ball rolling....
Here are a couple. These are from a run in the Indian Peaks Wlderness with more pics bradolwin's trail running Move 5.5.2012 - Move at Movescount.com

Nelson Lakes NZ.
A couple from holiday in Arenal d'en Castell, Menorca.
The Ambit crossing the International Date Line. Going from East to West.

At 1000km/hr with tail wind the degrees minutes seconds tick off pretty fast!
I doubt if it was intentional, but the plane was very close to 40deg N at the same time... which reminded me of this web site for GPS fanatics... the Degree Confluence Project
Incidentally... I was doing it for fun, but happened to find that another GPS I have hung at 179deg 59E. The latitude kept changing, but the longitude display stuck! So kudos to Suunto.

Trialling the route navigation. I found it worked well. Used 6 waypoints for a 14Km round trip and 1400m climb up a premiere route in a nearby national park.
Moved automatically onto next as I went past each waypoint. Altimeter used as a gague of distance up the mountain. Exercise timer kept us on schedule. HR monitor told me how many K Joules of beer I could consume back at the pub.
All in all a good outing with the Ambit. Not so good iPhone photo.
