My Ambit was fully charged on Monday night. It is now Wednesday night. Battery is at 75%.(plugged it in quickly to movescount) I did not use gps. I only used the light a couple times. Is this normal??
Should it not last longer?

I have used my Ambit for a number of long runs and used the GPS fairly extensively. My long runs are 5h to 7h long. If i have autolap on as Suunto states I will probably not achieve the expected battery life of 15h. However, with the autolap off I am getting the expected or predicted battery life. A 7h run leaves me with 50%+ battery, which is about right. I am happy with the battery life and it appears to be close to the specifications of Suunto. I can provide more detailed information if you wish.
This is not right. My Ambit has much longer charge. Perhaps trial again after a full charge?
That's way too short. I can wear my watch for a week and get 4 or 5 gps fixes and use the alarm every day and still have 95% battery life left.
Should get better battery life than that. I charged my Ambit the day I bought it (3.5 weeks ago) - have worn it every day since and used about 45 minutes gps and it's currently about 25%
The only thought I have... When you say 100%, is that in the app or did you give it a full overnight charge?
Most chargers for recent battery tech will indicate 100%, but then continue to top off the battery for a while, often several hours. If you pull the device off the computer as soon as it says 100%, I'd bet the watch won't last as long as if you leave it plugged in overnight once in a while to get the full capacity.
It was a full over night charge. I'm really not happy with this
My back light is at 30%, my contrast is at 50% and I have not been playing with it just to allow me to check the battery. It is now at 49% battery
Could it be that I am using the negative display? This really should not affect it though.
Is there anything I can try?
I have been charging it via a wall plug, and not the computer. Could that be the issue?
Did i Get a lemon?

Nothing you have stated should cause a excessive battery drain. Try charging it overnight on the computer and see what happens. I don't think charging it on the wall should make a difference.
Like the iPad, iPhone etc...there are always bad batteries that get by that don't live up to spec. It just happend with a few of the new iPads. It's rare but it always happens to tech items. I think you may have got a bad or weak battery. I think you should call Suunto and have the watch replaced. You may even be able to do a quick store exchange.
I can tell you that I can do a lot of GPS fixes and daily alarms, light, and I still never get below 95% in a weeks time.

I'll try it.
My concern is that I have scratched the bezel when I bumped it on a stucco wall. Would that matter with an exchange?
Try emailing suunto helpdesk or give them a call and see what options are available for you.
