With the temp sensor on the top back near the skin, mine is pretty much always extra warm. Unless I leave it off my wrist, of course!

    hello fellow singaporeans!

very poisoned by the ambit here. had a core and want an upgrade, but the antenna sticking out seems to be an issue for me, cos i have tiny wrist. i think 6.5" or so only..

went over to 3D trading today and saw one in flesh. that piece seem to be sticking out a little.

is it an issue for you guys too?

Got the Ambit 3 weeks ago and a lot of people noticed it and complimented it. No one has yet has asked me about the antenna. I pointed it out to a few people n they said "oh, ok I see it" but no one has noticed it on their own. When I went out to dinner the other night, I even felt comfortable wearing it out with a dress shirt w the sleeves rolled up n pulled it off. Something I'm not use to doing usually I'm against wearing digitals w dress attire but for some reason I felt totally comfortable doing it. Besides all that, the benefit of the GPS has been one of the most useful tools I have even had on a watch and outweighs the slightly noticeable protrusion and IMO gives the Ambit a little more character that makes it stand out on its own more so then others.

My wrist is also about 6.5" and the antenna do stick out a bit, but i thought it looks cool.

Operating the watch in the dark needs some getting used to the buttons function.

A good rule of thumb is to subtract 10 degrees to get a decent estimate of the ambient temperature...the watch is also picking up your body heat.
Focus on what you want to happen, not what has happened.

    Hi,
Believe me, I have the skinniest wrists you can imagine but the Ambit fits just fine! Wear it 24/7 and it's never an obstacle. I think it looks great, but that's just me ;)
So your question regarding the antenna: don't worry about that. It's really no 'big deal'

    Hi,
Where did you buy the Ambit? Most of the price I got from the shops for the Silver Ambit with HR is S$880.
i found that I can get it online from overseas at S$680.
Does Suunto provide international warranty? Will it be safe or better to get from oversea?
