    Cold Ambit

On a recent trip to NZ, the ambient temperature rarely got above 0 degrees and I noticed when the AMBIT cooled down (say below 5 degrees case temp), the screen refresh rate started to slow down.
At one point at -5 degrees, it was like watching slow motion as one screen faded and the next struggled to refresh.

The manual says the Operating Range goes down to -20C . I guess at that point the inside electronics are still working but practically speaking the screen chemistry has about stopped.
    (Storage Temp: -30 to +60C.)

7-8 months before I can get anywhere near that temperature.

That's totally normal behavior. The Core's display is even worse in that cold. What you have to remember is, if the watch is on the wrist or even on the coat, it will never get that cold.

Well this was on my wrist under my wind jacket. (see photo in other thread). Calculated temp with wind chill that day was -20.
