Core all black acting strange.

My all black is acting funny. When I push the light button the display goes dim, nearly unreadable. I assume its the battery, but have not changed it yet. Thought I would ask here first. Also when I am in time set mode, any button I push while changing the time changes the digit one increment and then takes me back to the home screen. This actually occurred when I first got the watch. I just never bothered to do anything about it.

I would say it is most definitely the battery. The exact same thing happens on mine when the battery is on it's way out (dimming). As for the other issue, that is not normal. See if it continues after the battery change, if it does, you would be best to send it into Suunto for repair. Chances are they will send you a brand new one as a replacement.

I agree... pop a new battery in and it will likely be just fine... but even if not, you have removed a likely suspect at a very low cost.
