The ones on the bottom are HOT!
Suunto... Replacing Luck!
Suunto has not done anything new to the Cores features since its introduction and thats been a long time ago. Its the same old watch in a different wrapper again and again. I thought Suunto might add a new feature or improve it technically. This can only mean Suunto has a new Core in its design phase.
I wish Suunto would improve the negative display.
I just love how people speak in such absoloutes. This statement may not be the case. Perhaps it is. But unless you have an inside communication with Suunto, you cant KNOW this.
Would a Core II be interesting? I guess. But in the mean time, or in leiu of, why not produce different looks for people. I think the Core has a pretty good feature set. it doesnt necessarily "NEED" improving.
Its the same thing they did with the Vector. There was no "Vector II"... unless you count a bezel change.
I think the Vector is as viable an ABC watch today as it was when it came out. Each model fills a nice niche. Not everyone wants or needs a Core.
Suunto... Replacing Luck!
Its called speculating. Between all 5 of the limited "Extreme" editions, Red Bull, then the Alpine etc....Suunto has marketed the Core to death. How many times can you put a racing stripe on the same car and call it all new?? The Core isnt a fashion watch. Why no HR on the Core by now? It feels like something is just over the horizon with either a Core upgrade or all new replacement.
The Vector is Suunos entry level ABC watch and it got a upgrade to a Heart Rate monitor option.

G Shock does it every single month. How many 6900 versions are there?
Good point on the Vector HR.

Alu versions looks good. HR would be great upgrade to Core.
