New Suunto core all black owner. Quick question

Im some what in between sizes or "slots" in the band and cant seem to get that comfortable fit all the time. For the most part its comfortable but i know if i made my own slot on the band between the third and fourth slots i could get the perfect fit. I have a couple Gshocks and did the same with them but their bands seem to be somewhat of a harder rubber. So my question to you guys is if i were to make my own adjustment on the band do you think itll hold? has anyone done so? thanks for your feedback.

I would probably just wear it a little loose. Im always really leery about extra holes. They dont have as much material on either side... I think they weaken the straps... even on G's. but that said, I have done it many times with Gs... I just try not to.

I've got one of those on my Core green and it's the most comfortable strap I've ever had. Much easier to wear than any of my G-Shocks.
