    New vector owner from philippines

hi! i would just like to tell you all suunto owners that i've purchased a vector (negative face) about 2 weeks ago. and i say this is really a great watch. i've owned several other brands like tag, tissot, h3 but i say this is probably the best watch i've ever owned :D but there's one thing that i've noticed, the face gets scratches easily. are there any ways to prevent or by polishing it? thanks!
btw, i really love the compass mode. its so accurate. i've been on a plane and the compass really tells me where i am heading. lol!

The Vector has a plastic crystal so it can scratch. It can be easily polished with Brass or Polywatch. I touch mine up about once a year. They look like new.

To protect it you could use a Zagg Shield. I don't use them but several here do. Just Google them. It may be right for you.

    Congrats!

hi..kabayan...now there's two pinoy vector owners...ive been with the forum since 2007, ive had all vectors, khaki, yellow, x-black, black, and x-lander...the guys here in the forum would always suggest to use brasso..we don't have that here, but i usually use glo polish...they're available in any hardware store..or if you want you can purchase on line...polywatch...i also use that...enjoy your vector

hello fellow kabayan! :D i've bought mine at time depot sm. i was going to ask them regarding the cleaning method or materials that i can use for my vector but unfortunately, they're closed today (due to the holy week). are there any glo polishes available? i mean what i know about glo is only for metal polishes.hehe thanks! i really enjoy my vector. i have the yellow band with negative face. just after i bought my watch, i did'nt realized that it has 2 faces. though i would still prefer the negative one.hehe oh yes, after watching 127 hours, i know that this watch will be the coolest. :D

You just made me realize that both the models I have have been in big movies LOL. Well the yellow one I definitely had BEFORE 127 hours. LOL. Maybe Aaron Ralston was trying to be more like me LOL.
