    Suunto Ambit service menu

I bought my Ambit watch a week ago. I can not access to service menu. Any body has similar issue?

What have you tried? What happens when you hold the two buttons?

I had trouble initially, because if you don't release both buttons when the display reaches the time limit, it will not enter the menu.

It's not like the normal menu, as soon as the ring goes around the whole watch release the buttons, then you will get into the service menu.

Thanks to both of you. I did it. I was holding the two buttons and waiting to enter to menu. To release is very strange. At the end I did it. :)

Yeah, they should mention it in the manual. If you don't release it within about a second of the circle completing it aborts. I had the same problem.

Same thing happened to me. BTW, every time you enter the Service Menu, you will have to recalibrate the compass and I think the reference altitude. It's not that clear from the manual that this is the case. I hope this can be fixed in a future firmware update.

I have entered the service menu many times. It doesn't prompt me to recalibrate. And my compass seems fine and reference altiitude is unchanged. Can you explain more about needing to re-calibrate?

Me neither. Compass works fine... Ref. alt. needs some calibration all the time...
