    Suunto X-Lander Black LE

    Hi All,

I noticed that few people here has X-Lander military.
But has anyone else got this X-Lander Black limited edition?

As far as I know the Limited Edition was released first, and then I guess Suunto decided to make it a permanent model and named it "Military Edition" I have the current Mil Ed, and in my opinion it is the same watch, just the strap is changed to (in my opinion) better rubber one And from you picture there is a difference in the markings on the back on mine it says "XLander
    carbon fiber back
aluminum case" and a serial number
On the one in the pic it says "limited edition"
Other than that I think they are the same. A GREAT ONE by the way. go for it, you are not going to be sorry.

The pictures are from my suunto. I bought it last year.
I also think it's the same watch than military edition. Only differences are in the strap and box what comes with it. But does anyone else got this watch?

Hello, I just bought a Suunto X-Lander Military on Ebay. It was the only way to get one in Brazil. I'm concerned about the authenticity of the watch because it has a green backlight instead of a blue one. Besides that, the watch seems authentic (it has a serial number in the back that matches those of Suunto)

Backlight in my suunto is also more green than blue.

The serial number of Suunto products is normally 8 digits. You can find answer in following link.

    Re: Suunto X-Lander Black LE

I contacted Suunto's helpdesk and they said my watch is authentic and that I have the "normal X-Lander". I don't know wwhat that means. Apparently, there is a Black version of the X-lander as well as the Military version. I would just like to know if there is any difference in the fisical aspects/appearece of both models or if its just the technical specs and materials that change.

I think that all the x-landers are technically same. Only differences are in appearecen, like display / case color or strap.

You are correct. But remember the Military X's have the Stinger type pushers that are useable underwater!!
