    T3d reset or re-use?

Since I now have the Ambit, I have given my T3 to my wife. However, even though I have set up a new Movescount account for her on our Mac, it still loads moves to my account. I think I have tried everything:
    - taken the battery out of the T3 to try to reset it.
    - uninstalled Moveslink and re- installed the latest version.
    - cleared the cache in safari and reset safari.
it still persists in loading moves to my account. The suunto FAQ just suggests quitting Moveslink and when you re-start it should prompt for a login but this and a re-install does not work; it appears to store this login info somewhere? The good news is that the 2 versions of Moveslink for the Ambit and T3 appear to co-exist without problems.

Does anyone know how to reset and re-direct the T3 to another account on the same PC?

    Thanks!

    Are you on windows?

I would guess you can remove the Settings file that moveslink saves. It looks like Moveslink2 has a option to disconnect devices, but I don't see one in Moveslink.

    Look for c:\Users\[yourusername]\AppData\Roaming\Suunto\Moveslink

You could just rename the Settings file first, then restart Moveslink. If bad things happen, a uninstall of Moveslink, followed by renaming/removing this directory, then an install ought to do the trick.

edit: I see you said Mac... I don't have a Mac install handy, but I know it has a similar storage directory somewhere.

I will have a tinker with my T6c when I get home, unless someone comes up with a result sooner.

Thanks both, your post pointed me in the right direction ans saved me a lot of extra frustration! Cobrapa, you were really close on the Mac it is in : Macintosh HD/ Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Suunto/Moveslink/Settings.xml

I deleted the Settings.xml and next time I connected Moveslink prompted for the Movescount email and password.... Result. Although most of this is hidden, so you will need to unhindered files first on the Mac.

    Thanks.

Great, glad we could help! I thought I remembered the settings file storing username and login info, so I thought that would solve your problem.
