Well guys, my buddy just bought my new Core Alu from me. He needed it on a trip.

Well you wont believe what I did. My buddy was flying to Alaska today on a hunting/fishing trip. He needed a good explorer watch and I showed him my Core Alu last night. He stopped by to borrow my back-up fly rod. He went nuts when I showed him all that it does. Since he needed it now, he said he would pay me $50.00 more than what I paid for it. (he can afford it) I figured I tested it out and he needed it NOW so I sold it to him as I know the watch wont let him down. Now I am going to buy another Core today. I am thinking on either another Core Alu or back to a All Black (military). Since Suunto fixed the Core in 2009, I have full faith in the model regardless what model of Core I decided on. I am convinced there isnt any other model that will do what I need. Its gonna be another Core for sure.



My last All Black Core with my Rolex (this was a pre 2009 model) Some of you may recall I put this model on a Modena Tire track strap and it was a neat alternative look.

That Alu with the rubber strap is unexpectedly pimp. I like it. I'm a little miffed that the brown display Cores are discontinued. I'm thinking of picking up a light green Core that I won't mind bashing the ---- out of on my trips to the field. The accuracy/logging/display on my Riseman G is just not doing it for me.
